Turners Auctions Building
Woolaway was entrusted to "Design & Build" a new auction facility for Turners Auctions in Napier. The overall size was 57m x 35m (2000 m2) plus a substantial administration block.
The design was specific to the tenants' requirements providing a bright, modern, purpose-built facility. A free span of 35 metres in width has created clear unobstructed use of the Auction Hall (see photo).

FPG Building
Woolaway was proud to be commissioned to construct the building
shell for Future Product Group’s new joinery factory and
administration centre in Napier. Large span curved steel trusses
helped create an aesthetically superb result on this occasion.
Future Products Group are innovative manufacturers of 'Temperature
Controlled Cabinets' throughout Australasia.

Apollo Fruit Coolstore Complex
Woolaway was involved in the preliminary design of this complex
with Loughnan Hall & Thompson, Consulting Engineers, Hastings.
The result was a series of huge fully bolted steel sections,
allowing pre-assembly of roof components at ground level. Multiple
roof modules were lifted in place using 4 cranes to significantly
speed construction time. Apollo Fruit is a major, privately
owned Coolstore operator located in Hastings.

Lowe Corporation Helicopter Service
Lowe Corporation are major sponsors of the local community
based Rescue Helicopter Service adjacent to the Hastings Regional
Hospital. Woolaway completed structural design and construction
of the hangar facility. Fully operational sliding doors were
incorporated into the design to allow rapid deployment of helicopters
in rescue situations.
